Event Overview

Aviation, Technology & Public Experience

The Buyant-Ukhaa Airshow is traditionally organized as an open public event on the apron area of Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport. The event is designed to promote the activities of Mongolia’s aviation sector and expand cooperation between related industries.

Since 2022, the event has been organized annually with special programs each year. Previous editions featured major aviation performances, including MiG-29 fighter aircraft demonstrations by professional aviation teams.

The 2026 edition is especially significant as it will be held alongside the International Drone Piloting Championship in Mongolia, creating a unique program that brings together aviation, drone technology, public entertainment, education, and innovation.
