DRONECON 2026 MultiGP Eastern Asia Regional Qualification.
Mongolia proudly announces the International Championship 2026, to be held under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.
This championship is more than just a competition. It is a major platform that brings together technology, innovation, engineering skills, sportsmanship, and international collaboration under one arena.
As drone technology continues to shape the future of aviation, logistics, smart systems, and digital transformation, this event aims to inspire the next generation of pilots, developers, and innovators while opening new opportunities for global cooperation.

Competition Format & International Vision
The competition is designed in an open format, welcoming participants from Mongolia and abroad. It will feature multiple categories that reflect both competitive drone sports and the future of intelligent aerial technology:
- Open Class — high-performance racing and technical pilot skill
- Tiny Whoop — compact agility, speed control, and indoor precision
- Drone Soccer — teamwork, tactics, and aerial ball competition
This international event is being organized with the support and cooperation of leading state institutions and professional organizations in the fields of digital development, defense, civil aviation, communications, sports, emergency management, and drone racing.
DRONECON 2026 Aims To
- promote drone sports and advanced technology in Mongolia,
- develop practical skills and innovation capacity among youth,
- encourage international participation and collaboration,
- create a high-level competition environment for pilots and teams,
- and position Mongolia as an emerging hub for drone sports and technology events in the region.

DRONECON 2026 Participant Schedule
May 30–31, 2026 | Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
DRONECON 2026 welcomes all registered pilots, teams, and participants to the International Championship. Please review the participant schedule and key procedures below to ensure smooth registration, technical verification, and competition readiness. The official program includes registration, technical inspection, briefing sessions, preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals, and the award ceremony across two competition days.
Day 1 — May 30, 2026
Registration, Technical Verification, Briefing, and Preliminary Competition
08:00–09:00
Participant Registration
All domestic and international participants, teams, and delegates must complete registration during this time.
Accreditation badges and participant identification will be issued, and competition materials, including technical
requirements, flight sequence, and safety instructions, will be distributed.
08:30–09:00
Technical Inspection and Verification
All drones, controllers, batteries, and communication equipment will undergo technical inspection.
Compliance with category requirements, technical standards, and safety conditions will be verified before confirming
eligibility to compete.
09:00–09:20
General Participant Briefing
Participants will receive an introduction to the competition structure, rules, flight order, safety procedures,
emergency protocols, and the responsibilities of pilots, coaches, judges, and technical staff.
Attendance is strongly recommended for all competitors.
10:00–12:30
Preliminary Competition Round
The first stage of the competition will begin, including flight skill challenges, precision tests,
and stable control evaluation. Performance will be scored based on timing and execution under official judge supervision.
12:30–13:30
Lunch Break
Participants may use this time to rest, network, and visit designated activity areas.
15:00–16:00
Technical Practice Flights
Participants will have the opportunity to conduct familiarization flights within the competition environment,
check signals and technical setup, and review the course, obstacles, and landing zones.
17:30–18:30
Continuation of Preliminary Flights
This session may include delayed runs, incomplete flights, approved re-entry due to technical reasons,
and flights by reserve participants.
18:30–19:00
End of Day 1
A summary of the day’s activities and preliminary results will be announced, together with important information for Day 2.
The competition schedule may be extended by the organizers depending on participant numbers, weather conditions,
and technical circumstances.
Day 2 — May 31, 2026
Semi-Finals, Final Round, and Award Ceremony
08:00–09:00
Attendance Confirmation and Preparation
Finalist attendance will be confirmed, a short technical inspection will be conducted, daily safety instructions
will be repeated, and the flight order for the day will be announced.
09:00–10:30
Qualification Continuation / Selection Round
Participants advancing from the preliminary stage will continue competing under additional evaluation criteria,
with detailed judging and performance review.
13:00–14:30
Semi-Final Competition
Semi-finalists will compete in advanced tests of technical skill, operational stability, timing, precision,
and task completion. Judges will determine which participants advance to the final round.
15:30–16:00
Final Round Preparation
Finalists must complete the final technical check and attend the last briefing on final-round rules, scoring,
and confirmed flight order.
17:00–18:00
Final Competition Round
The championship final will take place during this session. Finalists will compete for the highest scores,
followed by the judges’ final review and confirmation.
18:30–19:30
Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation
Official results will be announced, and first, second, and third place winners will receive awards.
Special prizes and recognitions will also be presented.
20:00–22:00
Closing Show
The event will conclude with a closing show and final gathering for participants and guests.
Important Notes for Participants
- Final announcements regarding results, next rounds, and logistics will be made onsite by the organizing team.
- All participants must complete registration on time.
- Only technically verified drones and equipment will be permitted for competition use.
- Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions and official flight procedures.
- Schedule adjustments may be made by the organizers depending on weather, participant volume, and technical conditions.
